ONGOING PROJECTS
COMMISSION FOR PUBLIC ART
Jersey Public Sculpture Trust seeks experssions of interest from local artists interested in designing and creating a piece of public art to mark the centenary of Family Nursing and Home Care (the largest independent provider of Community Nursing and Home Care in Jersey) established in 1907 by the Dean of Jersey Reverend Samual Falle.
Budget is £5,000 - £7,000. This is capable of being increased for imaginative proposals but would probably not exceed £10,000. Expected completion date is December 2008. Location is a prominent public position in St. Helier/St. Saviour yet to be selected.
Interested artists should submit an artistic C.V. with outline details of executed commissions if any. Artists in training not yet qualified should not be deterred from applying.
Aplications will be sent further details of brief and organisation.
Please apply to Ray Banks, Chairman Jersey Public Sculpture Trust, before 15th February by post, to 20 Grosvenor Street, St. Helier, JE2 4QR or by email to raybanks1938@yahoo.co.uk.
